Founded in 1995, UES has established itself as one of the most experienced and trusted marketing agencies in the industry. Our business platform was founded on the principal of providing expertise and gas management services in a fully transparent environment.

Originally established to provide marketing services to producers in the Gulf Coast region, UES has expanded its service offerings to include portfolio and transactional advisory services and midstream asset management. Our growth over the last 20 years and reputation in the marketplace is directly attributable to our track record of adding value through transparent transactions for our clients.

UES is led by an experienced and motivated management team which brings over a century of combined experience in oil & gas marketing. Our backgrounds include natural gas trading, gas supply origination, end-user marketing, transportation and storage optimization, gas control, and oil and gas mineral leasing.

Robert Haworth, Jr President

Robert Haworth has over 31 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Haworth joined Upstream Energy Services in 1998, became President in 2000 and is one of the Managing Partners.

Prior to joining Upstream, Mr. Haworth served as Principal Gas Trader for Constellation Energy 1996-1998; Gas Supply Manager for Olympic Pipeline Company 1989-1996; and Landman for Shell Oil Company 1984-1989.

Mr. Haworth earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration degree in Petroleum Land Management from The University of Texas at Austin.

Wayne Brinton Executive Vice President

Wayne Brinton has over 30 years of experience in the natural gas trading industry. Mr. Brinton joined Upstream Energy Services in 2000, and is currently the Executive Vice President and one of the Managing Partners.

Prior to joining Upstream, Mr. Brinton served as Vice President of Trading & Operations at Constellation Energy 1996-2000; Vice President at Olympic Fuels Company 1992-1996; Transportation Representative at Delhi Gas Pipeline 1989-1990; Manager of Gas Control at Victoria Gas Corporation 1987-1989; and Volume Analyst at Transco Exploration Partners 1985-1987.

Mr. Brinton earned his Bachelor's degree in Mineral Economics from The Pennsylvania State University.

Mark Hays Vice President

Mark Hays has over 37 years of experience in the natural gas trading industry. Mr. Hays joined Upstream Energy Services in 2009 as Vice President and is one of the Managing Partners.

Prior to joining Upstream Mr. Hays served as Vice President of Supply at Southwest Energy 2001-2009; Director of East Trading at Pan Canadian 2000-2001; Vice President of East Region at Coastal Gas Marketing 1994-2000; Manager of Gas Supply at Citizens Resources 1990-1994; and various positions at Transportation Exchange Associates arranging pipeline transportation and end-user marketing.

Mr. Hays is a graduate of The University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Charles Campbell Director, Business Development

Charles Campbell joined Upstream Energy Services in 2010. Currently he is the Director of Business Development and one of the Managing Partners.

Mr. Campbell has served the company in various roles and focuses on the development of the Eagle Ford Shale, gas processing and NGL marketing, as well as leads the Advisory Services efforts. Prior to serving as Director, he gained experience in marketing evaluation, economic modeling and analysis, commercial negotiation as well as M&A advisory work.

A native of Beaumont, Texas, Mr. Campbell earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Texas A&M University. He is a member of Young Professionals in Energy and IPAA Emerging Leaders in Energy.
